Where do you live?

Banbury Oxfordshire (though I am a Yorkshire girl at heart!)

How did you start card making and/or scrapbooking?

I’ve always been arty crafty and trained as a theatre designer. I had a great time in ‘the business’ but it was becoming more pen pushing than creating so I bit the bullet and ‘retired’ in spring 2007 deciding to dedicate myself to my arty roots again …. but what? Then mum introduced me to Scrapbook Inspirations and Tim Holtz and there was no looking back!

What would you say defines your style?

This is a hard one! My style very much depends on the project in hand I think (and my mood!) I like to play with different ideas so I never completely settle in one place, although I guess colour and collage is my favourite thing and I’m enjoying shabby chic and 3D work at the moment.

What tends to be the focus of your scrapping?

Again this depends on the project and the mood. I use anything from places to buildings, every day life things to heritage photos, friends to family and sometimes me. I tend to use the photos that tell the story at that time.

What is your favourite dessert?

In this country it has to be lemon meringue pie! In Mexico flambé strawberry pancakes, made with tequila and cinnamon served with homemade ice cream … heaven!

What is your guilty secret?

People watching! (I am so nosey!)
