Where do you live?

Essex, England

How did you start card making and/or scrapbooking?

I've always done something crafty, and then a friend took me to Hobbycraft and we bought rubber stamps, stamp pens and other 'stuff' and its just snowballed from there - it's become all consuming!  This is the craft I've stuck with the longest - and now its become my job.  Can't ask for better than that!  I love making things.

What would you say defines your style?

My style is quite eclectic, and definitely goes in phases - I'll try anything -technique, colour or embellishment, and if it works I'll use it and use it and use it... and I like combining the different crafts I do - sewing, printing etc.  My style is quite clean.  I don't overload a page - I like there to be space so that everything on the page can breathe (if you know what I mean). For me the photo is the main focus and I love a bit of texture/ pattern of some kind.

What tends to be the focus of your scrapping?

Anything - if it'll fit into a mini-book I'll scrap it!!  But my focus has to be to finish - my phrase/mantra for 2009 is 'If you start it finish it!'.

What is your favourite dessert?

Cheesecake!  The lovely creaminess of the top layer combined with a lovely crunchy base, and if we're being specific Baileys flavoured cheesecake, or Amaretto, and lemon is very refreshing.. no, stop, can't choose!

What is your guilty secret?

I believe there is no such thing as having too much paper. I don't think I'll ever get through all the paper I have and that makes me feel quite guilty and yet it doesn't stop me buying new paper!   So much paper so little time!
