How did you start card making and/or scrapbooking?

I’ve been creating arty things for as long as I can remember, my Mum was a dressmaker so yummy colourful patterned fabrics and boxes of pretty threads always surrounded me. I used to play with the scraps for hours on end!
I started to ‘officially’ scrap my photos about two years ago when I decided to scrapbook my life from birth to now (and I’m 25) so that was quite an undertaking!

What would you say defines your style?

I like clean, graphic layouts with the main focus on the photo and a minimal amount of journaling.  I’m a great fan of colour and surface pattern and my layouts quite often have stitching on them somewhere.

What tends to be the focus of your scrapping?

I always start with the photograph; my favourite scrapping subject usually involves pictures of me and my best friend Rachel. We live in different cities now so scrapping the photos of us together reminds me of really great times.
Other than that I tend to scrap important events like Christmases or graduation, if I wanted to scrap everything I would need a million albums and more hours in a day than there are!

What is your favourite dessert?

My mum's apple dessert, its like apple sauce topped with cornflakes that have been mixed with melted butter and golden syrup and finished off with whipped cream! Mmmmmm dessert.....
