How did you start card making and/or scrapbooking?

I have always been a creative type and done crafts as long as I can remember really, and tried lots of things including card making. While on holiday in New Zealand in October 2003, I picked up a couple scrapbooking magazines, and was totally engrossed for the rest of the trip (it was our honeymoon, so my husband wasn't too happy!). As soon as we got home I began building my stash and sometimes even using it!

What would you say defines your style?

I would say that although the photo inspires my style, I do tend towards clean, simple, graphic layouts. However, even the simplest of layouts take me a long time to complete each layout. I have a fear of sticking things down until the whole layout is completed, and am in awe of people who know just where something should go!

What tends to be the focus of your scrapping?

My main inspiration and subjects when it comes to scrapbooking are my two children Nathan and Kerris. Initially I focused on events, but now I find most of my scrapbooking is about everyday life. Because of this, I am slowly starting to include my husband John and even myself in layouts so that the children have a good record to look back on!

What is your favourite dessert?

My favourite has to include cinnamon really, I love it! So Cinnabon is a big hit. I also love rhubarb crumble, and a good vanilla ice cream.
